Solana Tokens and NFTs are generally stored in separate on-chain accounts. Creating a standard Token Account usually requires approximately 0.002 SOL as a rent-exempt balance.
Solana Rent Recovery closes unused Token or NFT-like accounts and returns the SOL reserved for their on-chain storage. CiaoTool scans eligible accounts and lets you reclaim SOL from multiple selected accounts.
CiaoTool identifies empty accounts, fungible-token accounts, and NFT-like accounts. Empty accounts can be closed directly. Accounts containing Tokens or NFTs must have their selected assets burned before closure.
Burning permanently destroys the selected Tokens or NFTs. Once the assets are removed, the associated account can be closed and its SOL recovered. Burning is irreversible. Always verify the Token, Mint address, balance, and account before confirming.
The released SOL is returned to the wallet performing the recovery. Before execution, the page displays the estimated rent recovered, applicable fees, and estimated net SOL received.
CiaoTool currently charges a 2% platform fee based on the rent actually recovered, discounted from the standard 4% rate. Solana network fees and an optional Jito tip also apply. All fees and estimated net recovery are shown before execution.
RPC mode broadcasts and confirms account-closure transactions through the selected Solana RPC. Jito Bundle submits the transactions through Jito and requires an additional tip.
Connected Wallet mode signs through your browser wallet without private-key input. Other Private-Key Wallet mode processes accounts owned by another authorized wallet and signs the transactions locally in your browser.
CiaoTool is non-custodial. Transactions are authorized through your connected wallet or signed locally using an imported private key. Private keys are not uploaded or stored on CiaoTool servers. Closing accounts and burning assets are irreversible, so review every selected account before signing.
